Installation & Testing Manager- Metro, Railway project

The Installation and Testing Commissioning Manager is reports to the Project
Manager and is leading the Installation Team, Testing and Commissioning
Team, Sub-contractor Team, and oversees the day-to-day activities, Site work
and technical issues and decisions for Chennai Metro Rail. Oversee operations
on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that work is done safely, on time and within
budget and to the right quality standards.
The primarily roles and responsibilities are following:
 Oversee Installation crews and ensure that equipment is installed to
company standards.
 Supervise, train, and develop installation crews.
 Work with Project Manager to ensure goals are prioritized and met.
 Ensure timely and thorough installation of ready product.
 Provide follow-up with customers and ensure any open concerns are
addressed in a timely manner.
 Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
 Schedule and organize a high volume of new and existing projects.
 Will oversee operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that work is done
safely, on time.
 Responsibility for all sites works.
 While work is taking place, will monitor progress, oversee delivery of
materials, carry out safety checks and sort out any problems which could
hold up work as they arise.
 Make sure that the deadline for completing the work is met.
 Manage all the configuration & internal test before final testing.
 Evaluate which failures are chargeable against the Contractor’s reliability
requirements.
