Systems administration of critical technical maintenance of AMOS in both LDA (LOUIS DREYFUS ARMATEURS) and LDPL Middle east.
Actively supporting and participating in the Group Software (AMOS)
improvement initiatives, continuous monitoring, proactive reviewing, and testing.
Managing application version upgrades independently within the framework of established change management protocols.
Supervise DB replication between office and vessels (~30 vessels), proactively resolving replication or other software-related issues to minimize disruptions.
Following up, tracking progress, fostering productive collaborations with software supplier (Spectec) for swift resolutions of the software problems.
Deployment and technical implementation of the scripts provided by vendor support.
Installation of software in new vessels (DB creation, PC installation, replication setting).
Performing essential SQL requesting for users and basic batch scripting for the system.
Ability to create and automate a customized reports that supports business requirements.
Ability to communicate and cross-functional coordination, facilitating the
collaboration across departments for product potential enhancements at an
organizational level.
Support, and monitor other departments’ software usage and suggest
automation processes that could reduce inefficiencies.
Perform and maintain systems integration with the 3rd party software. Support all existing AMOS automated tasks deployed across all the group departments.
Ensuring regular system backups and restoration, safeguarding critical data and systems.
Assisting IT PMS Officer to Develop, plan, organize, and deliver training modules in liaison with the Crew Department and Technical Manager.
Participate to Amos training program (When required).
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and
computer hardware/software systems.
SQL language (minimum basic requests), Sybase (optional)
MS Windows basic skills (Bash scripting, task scheduler, services, primary network)
Software: AMOSMP V10, Replicator.
Demonstrated ability in implementing improvement activities/projects.
