Able to read prints and then create a CMM inspection program for the features
based on GD&T knowledge and CMM programming best practices.
Given a part model, effectively use Calypso software to program a CMM
When part models are not available, able to create a part model in Solid Works
onto which the CMM program is applied.
Apply best practices to inspect features based on # of data points needed,
feature shape (cylinder, plane, projections, intersecting points), scanning rate,
noise/filters, and tolerances.
Apply best CMM programming practices to align data bubbles with inspection
output. Have previous experience (3-5 years) creating CMM programs on
complex part geometries.
Mechanical Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience.
Hands-on experience writing the CMM program for complex parts.
Should be good at drawing reading skills and DG & T application.
Experience writing programs using Calypso software and experience with
Zeiss CMM machine is preferred.
3D modeling experience using SolidWorks is a must.
Very good English speaking and writing skills are a must.
Good in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
