1. SAP MM Configuration: Configure SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, and material master data, to align with client needs and industry best practices.
3. Inventory Control: Implement inventory control strategies and optimize stock levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring materials availability.
4. Purchasing: Create and manage purchase orders, purchase requisitions, and contracts within SAP MM, ensuring efficient procurement processes.
6. Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement, considering factors such as cost, quality, and lead times.
7. Integration: Work closely with other SAP modules and teams (e.g., SAP SD, SAP PP) to ensure seamless integration with SAP MM processes.
8. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.
9. Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate the functionality and accuracy of SAP MM solutions.
10. Support and Training: Provide end-user training and support, assisting with issue resolution and troubleshooting
11. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on SAP MM best practices, new features, and innovations, and make recommendations for process improvements. Requirements
12. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
13. Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP MM implementation and support. 14. Proficiency in configuring SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, and material master data.
15. Strong understanding of materials management and procurement processes.
16. Knowledge of SAP integration techniques and familiarity with other SAP modules.
17. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
18. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
19. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
20. SAP certification in Materials Management is a plus
21. Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP MM
22. Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
23. Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
24. Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.
25. Design, customize, configure and testing of MM
26. Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
27. Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems.
28. Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues;
29. Document functional designs, test cases and results.
30. Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
31. Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects 32. Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
33. Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
