Partner with Global R&D organization to protect and expand competitive advantage of the solar and energy solutions product and service offerings. You will work together with technical experts, program managers and IP counsel (internally and externally) to ensure freedom to operate for our product development.
Explore IP landscaping opportunities and lead the initiative by performing patent analysis. Work with technical experts to unveil white space opportunities and stimulate new Inventions.
Analyze disclosures and supporting evidence, in order to prepare, draft, and file patent applications
Consult, support, and train researchers on the invention disclosure and patent process
You will have direct access to domain experts and IP counsel and will support / host invention reviews as well as patent validity studies.
Your conscientious and inclusive workstyle enables you to periodically summarize granted patents across the globe and send reports to relevant domain experts and stakeholders.
You will find reasonable approaches to work on potential IP risks and create strategy with IP Counsel.
Good knowledge on various IP studies like prior-art searches, landscape analysis, patent invalidity and IP clearance.
Broad technical knowledge and understanding, ability to understand technical content quickly and to categorize it.
Should possess good oral and written communication skills with very good textcomprehension skills. Affinity to written explanation of technical matters.
Ability to work with and across all global resources (Korea, Europe, US).
Good written and oral communication in English.
a strong understanding of IP and patent analysis, as well as experience working with legal and technical experts.
Experience in design and operation of photovoltaics, battery storage, grid integration and power transmission are highly appreciated.
3+ years’ experience working with patents in an industrial IP department, with basic knowledge of patent law.
Reliable and time-oriented workstyle.
Service-oriented work in small teams.
High proficient in reading, writing German, Korean, or Chinese.
