IP Manager

Partner with Global R&D organization to protect and expand
competitive advantage of the solar and energy solutions product and service offerings. You will work together with the technical experts, program managers and IP counsel (internally and externally) to ensure freedom to operate for our product development.
Lead team to complete IP landscaping in areas of interest and monitor trends to unveil white space opportunities and stimulate new inventions.
Consult, support, and train R&D organization on the invention
disclosure and patent process.
Recommend improvements to improve the effectiveness and speed of the patent process.
Analyze disclosures and supporting evidence, in order to prepare, draft, and file patent applications.
Partner with the HQ IP Strategy team to create the operating rhythm/reports to keep R& D leadership and relevant domain experts aware of competitor patent applications, IP risk, application status, etc.

Good knowledge on various IP studies like prior-art searches, landscape analysis, patent invalidity and IP clearance.
Should possess good oral and written communication skills with very good text comprehension skills. Affinity to written explanation of technical matters.
Ability to work with and across all global resources (Korea, Europe, US).

Good written and oral communication in English.
