Job Role & Responsibility
Lead the civil design team, focusing on land development, site grading, drainage, and stormwater management projects.
Oversee the planning, design, and management of large-scale infrastructure projects, including roads, subdivisions, and utilities.
Utilize Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Hydraflow to perform advanced land development and hydrological designs, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
Ensure project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting innovation and best practices in civil design.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., structural, architectural) to ensure integrated design solutions.
Manage civil design projects in diverse regions, including the Middle East, Europe, APAC, and the USA, while adhering to regional regulations and codes.
Perform stormwater management analysis, drainage design, and floodplain studies using hydrological modeling tools.
Review design calculations, reports, and plans prepared by the team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client specifications.
Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and regional regulatory changes.
Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
8+ years of experience in civil design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong proficiency in Civil 3D, HydroCAD/Hydraflow (civil 3d extension) for land development and hydrological analysis.
Proven experience working on projects in the Middle East, Europe, APAC, and USA, including producing civil drawing sets with in-depth knowledge of regional land development and hydrology standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Strong understanding of site grading, utility layout, stormwater management, drainage systems, and erosion control methods.
Should be able to deliver projects with sustainable design principles in detail site planning, grading, paving, storm, sewer, and water layouts and erosion control measures.Civ
