Conduct regular analysis of category performance, including sales trends,
customer behavior, competitive landscape, and product assortment
effectiveness.
Optimize product listings and content within assigned categories to improve
search visibility, conversion rates, and overall customer engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing,
merchandising, and supply chain, to align category strategies with broader
business objectives.
Identify and prioritize new product opportunities and market trends within
assigned categories to drive growth and innovation.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, including forecasting demand,
identifying excess stock, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory
turnover.
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and
promotional opportunities to drive category growth and profitability.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging
eCommerce technologies to continuously improve category performance and
enhance the customer experience.
Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives related to eCommerce platform
enhancements, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on category
performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques,
such as Excel, Google Analytics, and eCommerce analytics platforms.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability through
effective category management strategies and initiatives.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work
effectively in a remote team environment.
Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for
delivering exceptional online shopping experiences.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills,
capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento,
Woo Commerce) and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work
