Application Engineering and Execution:
Experience in control system design, commissioning, planning for SCADA/BMS/IoT/Energy monitoring solution Development.
1. Understanding the client and Project requirement.
2. Analysis for market availability w.r.t. budget and quality.
3. Finalizing client requirements.
4. Creating Tenders and RFPs.
5. Techno-commercial evaluation of H/W components (I/O cards, Switches, OPC server/PLC, gateways etc)
6. Knowledge of LT/HT panel devices
BOM/BOQ preparation and finalization for different projects as per project
Internet connectivity & plant network topology design finalization for
integration of field devices and communication boxes inside the plant.
Preparation of WBS, Cable schedules, L1/L2/L3/L4 schedules for work execution at site.
Capable enough to handle all field execution work at remote locations.
GA/Wiring drawing approval, conducting FAT.
Installation Commissioning & Testing of Communication box at site.
Cables laying, ferruling, termination, integration of field devices with
communication box, communication testing & trouble shooting.
Getting the Tag values of field devices in OPC server.
Preparation of SOPs for different activities like configuration of IP for devices
communicate over TCP/IP, Modbus TCP and configuring Slave ID for devices
communicating over Modbus RTU and for other field related activities like
laying of FO/Modbus cables, Communication Box Installation,
commissioning/post commissioning check sheets etc.
Should be exceptional in application engineering, designing, programming,
commissioning of end to end automation systems
Expert knowledge of PLC Programming on any one PLC platform.
Knowledge of motion controllers, servo drives, VFD drives
Knowledge of Pneumatics and hydraulics circuit design and troubleshooting

Good to have – Knowledge of programming and configuration of at least one
of the following robots: Kuka, Motoman, ABB-IRB series.
Preparation of daily progress report and sending to all concerned persons.
Resource Management at site to execute the work smoothly.
Should have good knowledge about MS Project tool for project schedule
Should have good knowledge about IEC standards for automation.
Cost negotiations and technical feature comparison.
Knowledge of various protocol testing tools
Knowledge of excellent knowledge in network design (switch/gateway/router),
1. Knowledge in Python Embedded C and ladder rung.

After commissioning Support/Services:
Document management (To ensure that as-built drawings: GA, wiring etc. are
available locally at site and on centralized documentation)
Attending breakdowns/analysis for root cause of failure/ inventory
management for spares/ alternate options identification/ ensure uptime of
plant SCADA/MONITORING SOLUTION >99%.
Putting all breakdowns and corrective actions status on online portal for ease
of access to anyone in department.

Should have exposure on embedded devices like raspberry pi, Arduino,
Beagle board etc. along with programming.
Should have knowledge on MQTT configuration and basic programming.
Should have worked on PLCs, Servo drives, VFDs etc. for commissioning and
