Sr SAP FICO Consultant

Experience: 10–12 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science
Location: Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane West
Working Days: Monday–Friday
Salary: ₹25–36 LPA, as per experience and industry standards

Key Requirements:

10–12 years of strong SAP FICO experience, preferably with significant S/4HANA exposure.
Experience in 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementations or global rollouts.
Strong experience in multi-country SAP localization and rollout projects.
Experience with Brazil or China localization is preferred.
Strong knowledge of SAP FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, tax configuration, tax procedures, withholding tax, VAT/GST and statutory reporting.
Experience with cross-border and intercompany taxation.
Hands-on experience with e-invoicing/e-reporting and digital tax requirements.
Strong integration knowledge with SAP SD, MM, Procurement, Billing, Banking and Master Data.
Experience with SAP Tax/DRC, external tax engines and statutory reporting platforms.
Experience working with global templates and localization governance.
Strong understanding of the complete implementation lifecycle: Requirement Gathering → Fit-Gap → Design → Configuration → Testing → Cutover → Go-Live → Hypercare.
Experience coordinating multiple countries/workstreams is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead SAP FICO localization activities across multiple countries and legal entities.
Analyze statutory, tax and regulatory requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Perform fit-gap analysis between global SAP templates and country-specific requirements.
Configure and support GL, AP, AR, tax codes/procedures, VAT/GST, withholding tax and account determination.
Design tax determination scenarios for domestic, import/export, intercompany, B2B and B2C transactions.
Support e-invoicing, e-reporting and other digital tax requirements.
Coordinate with local tax advisors and country SMEs.
Lead configuration, testing, UAT, cutover and hypercare activities.
Support tax reconciliation, statutory reporting and production issues.
Prepare functional specifications for localization enhancements and interfaces.
