E-Commerce Developer – WordPress/WooCommerce/Shopify

Required Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify.
Experience in Shopify theme development and customization.
Knowledge of Shopify Liquid, sections, blocks, Meta fields, and custom templates.
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design.
Experience with WordPress theme customization and plugin configuration.
Understanding of WooCommerce checkout, product types, coupons, shipping,
and payment settings.
Basic knowledge of PHP for WordPress customization.
Experience with APIs and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website speed optimization.
Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
Ability to debug front-end and back-end website issues.

Preferred Skills
Experience with Shopify Plus is an advantage.
Experience with custom Shopify apps or private app integrations.
Knowledge of page builders such as Elementor, WP Bakery, Gutenberg, or
Shopify page builders.
Experience with Odoo, ERP, inventory, or order management integrations.
Knowledge of CRO, A/B testing, and user behavior tools.
Experience with tools like Google Page Speed Insights, Lighthouse, GT
metrics, Search Console, and Hotjar.
Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
Experience in retail, electronics, auto parts, jewelry, or marketplace e-commerce is preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify development.
Strong portfolio of e-commerce websites is preferred.
