Lead SDET – Automation Architect

Years of Experience

8+ years in software testing/engineering
3+ years in automation architecture and technical leadership

Key Responsibilities

 Define and own the end-to-end automation testing strategy
 Design scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, performance,
and integration testing.
 Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
 Lead test architecture decisions and tooling selection
 Mentor SDETs and other testing staff in automation best practices
 Establish quality metrics, reporting dashboards, and release gates
 Drive shift-left and shift-right testing approaches
 Implement AI-driven testing tools (test generation, self-healing
tests, defect prediction)
 Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Architecture teams

Skills  Strong programming skills (Python, Java,

TypeScript, or similar)

 Experience building test frameworks from scratch
 Deep understanding of:
 REST APIs + contract testing
 Microservices architecture
