 Site Inspections & Risk Assessment: Conducting daily site inspections
(including excavations, scaffolding, and structural work) to identify
hazards, assess risks, and implement preventative measures (e.g.,
barriers, signage).
 Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to legal and
company safety standards, including maintaining statutory registers
and documentation.
 Safety Training & Induction: Conducting safety induction for new
workers, holding daily Toolbox Talks, and coordinating emergency
response drills (fire safety, evacuation).
 Hazard Management: Enforcing the use of Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) and ensuring hazardous materials are stored/handled
safely.
 Incident Investigation: Conducting root cause analysis of incidents,
near-misses, and injuries to develop corrective actions.
 Work Permits & Compliance: Issuing and monitoring permits for
hazardous work (e.g., confined spaces, hot work) and overseeing
subcontractor safety compliance.
