Job Role & Responsibility
· Develop and maintain robotic automation solutions for network operations and monitoring activities.
· Design, configure, and maintain enterprise and robotics network infrastructure.
· Develop automation scripts using Python, Ansible, Bash, or Terraform for network provisioning and monitoring
· Configure and manage network monitoring/event management tools including IBM Tivoli Netcool.
· Build workflows for auto-remediation and intelligent incident response.
· Integrate monitoring tools with ITSM/ticketing platforms and automation frameworks.
· Perform event correlation, alarm suppression, and root cause analysis.
· Develop scripts and APIs for network automation and orchestration.
· Collaborate with NOC, engineering, and operations teams to improve operational efficiency.
· Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of automation platforms.
· Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and automation design documents.
· Automate configuration management for routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and robotic network devices.
· Support robotics connectivity, IoT communication, and industrial automation systems.
· Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network automation deployments.
· Monitor network performance, troubleshoot latency, connectivity, and security issues.
· Integrate REST APIs and network management platforms for automation workflows.
· Collaborate with infrastructure, security, DevOps, and robotics teams for system integration
· Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and automation runbooks.
· Ensure high availability, scalability, and security compliance of network environments
Skills
End to End understanding of Telecom Network.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP.
Experience of working on network automation platform tools like IBM Tivoli Netcool and IBM Tivoli.
Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Nautobot, or NetBox.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and SDN technologies.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, DevNet, JNCIA, or equivalent.
Experience with cloud networking platforms such as Amazon Web Services AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Exposure to robotics platforms, autonomous systems, or industrial automation environments.
