• Position: Sr. Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric / Azure Analytics
• Experience: 6+ years in Azure / Synapse
• Location: Bangalore (Bellandur) / Chennai (Taramani) / Gurgaon (Sector 30)

Mandatory Skills

1. Synapse to Microsoft Fabric Migration – Strong hands-on experience in migration projects.
2. Azure Synapse Analytics – Extensive experience with Azure data engineering and analytics solutions.
3. Microsoft Fabric – Practical experience with Fabric notebooks, pipelines, Lakehouse and data transformation.
4. Azure Data Factory (ADF) – Strong experience designing, developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
5. PySpark / Python / SQL – Hands-on experience with notebook-based data processing.
6. Power BI & DAX – Experience developing datasets, DAX measures and calculated columns.
7. Data Warehousing – Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data integration and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Azure data pipelines.
• Work on Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric migration and modernization initiatives.
• Develop and optimize Fabric/Synapse notebooks using PySpark, Python and SQL.
• Build reliable data ingestion, transformation and integration workflows.
• Develop and optimize Power BI datasets and DAX calculations.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and improve data processing performance.
• Collaborate with BI developers, data scientists and business stakeholders.
• Implement data quality, monitoring and error-handling processes.

Candidates must have:

• 6+ years of relevant Azure / Synapse experience.
• Strong hands-on Azure Data Factory and SQL skills.
• Practical experience in Synapse to Fabric migration.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse notebooks.
• Good knowledge of Power BI and DAX.
