Backup & Storage Engineer

Years of Experience: 3–5 Years

Manage backup servers, storage systems, and repositories

Configure backup schedules, policies, and job execution

Monitor backup jobs and resolve failures

Perform data restoration based on business requirements

Conduct root cause analysis for backup failures

Perform capacity planning for backup storage

Ensure successful completion of backups (full/incremental/differential)

Experience with backup tools and storage systems
(SAN/NAS)

Knowledge of backup strategies and policies

Understanding of disaster recovery processes

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
