Lead Infrastructure & Data Engineer

• Ability to support the development of infrastructural components of the LDH
stack
• Strong coding experience and knowledge of cloud infrastructure, expertise in
Python, Spark, SQL (Postgres)
• Strong expertise in Azure, Databricks, Gen2 Storage, Terraform
• Strong experience working with restfulAPIs and Event-Driven Architecture –
Pub/Sub or Kafka
• Proven experience in building high performanceingestionframeworks and
relational data models
• Ability to mentor junior members of the team and support effective
peerreview
• Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team of advanced analytics
specialists
• Effective and adaptable engagement with stakeholders with varying levels of
technical knowledge
• Intellectual curiosity, communication and presentationskills
• A minimum of 7+ years within an engineering discipline

Desirable skills : • Exposure to re / insurance

• Exposure within an advanced analytics discipline and associated
methodologies
• Exposure to Java, R, C+, Dax, MDX
• Experience supporting junior engineers
• Experience in prioritisation of tasks based on deliverables and context

switching
• Experience developing and encouraging data engineering and stack best
practices and up-to-date methods
• Experience working within an Agile framework and using associated project
